Project title: Development of a computer vision system for rocks size detection.
Funded by: ENUSA (Spanish Uranium National Enterprise).
Duration: November 1, 1997 - October 31, 1998.
In this project we developed a video sensor able to estimate the size of mine rocks
transported on a conveyor belt. If the size of a rock exceeded a critical threshold, it could
get stuck, the system stopped the belt and an human operator was notified with an alarm.
